Commonly known as May Chang; lovely lemony scent; valued mostly for calming and anti-depressant properties; considered useful in cases of high blood pressure brought on by nervousness and stress; also used to dispel flatulence and for indigestion; applied to treat skin disorders such as acne, dermatitis, oils skin, and discolored spots on the skin and to control excessive perspiration; often used in soaps and lotions as it tends to stabilize the higher notes of other essential oils
Therapeutic Properties: hypotensive,astringent, digestive, stomachic, sedative or stimulant - as needed and according to quantity used, much like lavender, disinfectant
Application: dilute and apply as needed
Aromatic: crisp, lemony, citrus aroma; quite nice difussed
Cautions: can be a skin irritant to sensitive people; use caution if pregnant
